Secretary of the Air Force Michael W. Wynne presents Sharon and Harry Rideout with the 2006 Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award Oct. 26 at the Pentagon. Among their many accomplishments to support servicemembers, the Rideouts created the Bangor Greeters Group at Bangor International Airport, Maine. The all-volunteer group greets Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines as they pass through the airport, either going to or returning from overseas deployments.
