Staff Sgt. Sean Gann reads data from a total station used to position offset corner markers for the placement of a tactical operations center June 22 at Forward Operating Base Kalsu, Iraq. Sergeant Gann is an engineer assistant with the 557th Expeditionary RED HORSE Squadron deployed from the 820th RED HORSE Squadron at Nellis Air Force, Nev. He is originally from Bartow, Fla. Sergeant Gann and his fellow Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers, or RED HORSE, Airmen are forward deployed from Balad Air Base, Iraq, to build four tactical operations centers for the Army's 2nd Brigade combat team, 3rd Infantry Division headquartered here. The 2/3 ID is currently running operations out of tents. The Air Force RED HORSE unit, made up of Air Guard, Reserve and active-duty Airmen, was requested by the Army to come into this
