This image depicted an example of a shower door design where users who might be mobility impaired could possibly be amongst those who'd be using this shower stall. Taking into account the needs of people who are physically challenged, and incorporating design modifications that would accommodate such individuals, makes for a final product, which is more easily used by all. For showers to be considered more accessible by a wide range of people with differing abilities, the entry door must have an easy to use handle, low or no threshold, and be wide enough to permit a shower chair to pass. This example elegantly incorporated all of these features into an attractive solution.
