This photograph showed two students from Wesleyan College, located in Macon, Georgia, as they were interacting with the Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) technology exhibit located in the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) Global Health Odyssey (GHO) Museum, when the museum was in its former location of the organization's Atlanta, Georgia Roybal Campus, in Building 1. The GHO is still located on the Roybal Campus in Atlanta, Georgia, but is now situated in the new Tom Harkin Global Communications Center. The exhibit area features permanent and changing exhibitions that focus on a variety of public health topics, as well as the history of CDC. The exhibits in the GHO are self-guided and require no advance reservations. Additional curriculum-based exhibits and programming will be added in the future.
