During the Bangladesh smallpox eradication campaign, in order to keep abreast of new findings, changes in plans, and to create the appropriate strategies that would help to rid the country of this dreaded viral disease, program leadership would meet on a regular basis. This meeting was being held at 'Smallpox Zero' headquarters, and standing at the drawing board was former E.I.S. officer, Stanley O. Foster, M.D., M.P.H. The woman seated to his right, wearing glasses, was Dr. Farida Hug, who was at the time, the Chief of the Smallpox Laboratory.
