This photograph depicts the colonial morphology displayed by Gram-negative Burkholderia thailandensis bacteria, which was grown on a medium
Description:
This photograph depicts the colonial morphology displayed by Gram-negative Burkholderia thailandensis bacteria, which was grown on a medium of sheep's blood agar (SBA), for a 48 hour time period, at a temperature of 42C. See PHIL 12409, for a closer view of these bacterial colonies. Also, see both PHIL 12401 and 12402, for views of this bacterial specie, grown on the same medium, for the same amount of time, however, at a temperature of only 37C. Also note PHIL 12423 and 12424 depicting colonial growth on the same medium, and again, at a lower temperature (37C), and cultivated for only half the amount of time (24hr). Finally, PHIL 12431 and 12432 display this specie's bacterial growth, again on SBA, for half the time (24hr), but at a the same temperature (42C).
