This 2000 image depicted a wheelchair-seated woman seated at her home computer workstation, while two children, a young girl and boy, were present in the background. The inclusion of the mobility-impared woman, and the two children showed that by carefully planning a layout and storage design, this in-home office was arranged in order to conveniently accommodate a wide range of users. The work counter accommodated different types of seated users and age groups. Also, the children's presence showed this to be an example of how good design could facilitate intergenerational interaction.
