Depicted in this September, 1975 photograph, was a grouping of Bangladeshi villagers, amongst whom, stood the white-bearded father of a woman who'd died of smallpox, at what was labeled the 'Lord Harding Bazaar Outbreak' site, which began on March 29th. His daughter, who's symptoms began on August 29th, was the last person to die at this site on September 1, 1975. The outbreak was first reported on September 10th, 10 days after her death. There were a total of 43 cases of smallpox, with 9 deaths. The Bazaar can be found on Bangladesh's largest island, Bhola Island, in Lalmohan Thana (county).
