Jim Gruhala. . James M. Gruhala, Fish & Wildlife Biologist with the Kentucky Ecological Services Office, served in the U.S. Navy after graduating High School in October 1990 through October 1992 . He served as a Seaman Apprentice on board the USS Wainwright (CG-28) and performed seamanship duties in the Atlantic, Caribbean, and at various Atlantic ports. . He reentered government service as a forest technician with the USDA Forest Service on the Mark Twain National Forest in 2003 while earning a B.S. Degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Missouri State University. Since then he has worked in other positions with the USDA Forest Service, US Bureau of Land Management, and USFWS before assuming his current duties as a Fish & Wildlife Biologist for the USFWSâs Kentucky Ecological Services Office in Frankfort, Kentucky in April 2009.
