Stan Zazado
Stan Zazado, initially entered the U.S. Army in June 1990 and served until November 1994. He re-entered the U.S. Army in April 1999 and Served until October 2004. During his military career he was assigned to Fort Leonardwood, Mo., Fort Stewart, Ga., Camp Able Sentry Macedonia, Camp Bond steel, Kosovo, assigned to three different units, on two tours in Germany, and served one year in Iraq from 2003-2004. He served 11 years of active duty and departed as a Staff Sergeant (E6).
Zazadoâs military and professional awards and accomplishments include a Bronze Star, two Army Commendations Medals, two Army Achievement Awards, two Army Good Conduct Medals, the Major General Aubrey âRedâ Newman Leadership Award, he graduated top of his class and was the distinguished graduate from a Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), was the Sapper Leader, Leadership award recipient at the Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course (BNCOC), and was awarded the Department of Interiorâs âSafety and Health Group Achievementâ Award.
Stan is now the Southeast Region Heavy Equipment Coordinator.
