Description:
Federal Wildlife Officer Jeff Lucas joined the USFWS in 2004. Jeff is a Law Enforcement Specialist for the Division of Refuge Law Enforcement in Arlington, VA. Senior Chief Petty Officer Jeff Lucas joined the US Coast Guard in 1987, and served 8 yrs on active duty before joining the Coast Guard reserves in 1995. His active duty assignments included the Cutter Basswood homeported in Guam, Station St Petersburg, FL, and Station Duluth, MN. Reserve assignments included Station Duluth, MN, Marine Safety Unit St. Paul, MN, and Sector Mobile, AL. He is a graduate of the National Motor Lifeboat School in Cape Disappointment, WA, the National Maritime Law Enforcement Academy, and the Chief Petty Officer Academy. While in the reserves, Jeff has been deployed to the Red River floods in MN and ND, the I-35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis, MN, and most recently to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response in Grand Isle, LA. SCPO Lucas currently serves as the Reserve Command Senior Chief for Sector Mobile, AL.
