Galveston Supports NDFW

Description:

The City of Galveston recently honored the UTMB Center for Addiction Research with a Proclamation in support of National Drug Facts Week (NDFW), which was held on Jan. 27th through Feb. 2nd. This initiative, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, encourages teens to ask questions about drug abuse and addiction, and, in return, receive scientifically-based answers from top experts in the field. For the past several years, the Center has partnered with the Bay Area Council on Drugs & Alcohol to support NDFW activities at local middle and high schools.
