SOLAR POWER PROVIDES HOT WATER AND HEAT FOR THIS HOME IN SHENANDOAH, GEORGIA. SUNLIGHT COLLECTORS ON THE ROOF OF THIS HOUSE HEAT WATER WHICH FLOWS INTO A 1,000 GALLON STORAGE TANK IN THE BASEMENT. A FAN-COIL SYSTEM IN THE DUCT WORK TRANSFERS HEAT FROM THE WATER INTO THE ROOMS. THE COSTS OF THE SOLAR EQUIPMENT IN THE 1,200 SQ. FT. HOME WERE COVERED BY A GRANT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT SO THAT THE HOME COULD BE PRICED THE SAME AS SIMILAR MODELS.
