Moab IPT Meeting

Description:

The Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action Project summoned its Integrated Project Team (IPT) at the end of June 2009 to assist in identifying efficiencies that could be implemented in the tailings material handling, conditioning, transporting, and disposal processes. The Moab Recovery Act project accelerates the existing project shipping schedule; therefore, there is not an IPT specific to Recovery work. DOE established the IPT in 2005 to maximize project performance. The IPT is led by Donald Metzler, Moab Federal Project Director, and is composed of personnel from other DOE sites with previous uranium mill tailings remediation experience, safety experts, and project cost and schedule specialists.
