Originally established by the U.S. Congress in 1935 as the Soil Conservation Service (SCS), the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has expanded to become a conservation leader for all natural resources, ensuring private lands are conserved, restored, and more resilient to environmental challenges, like climate change.
The NRCS Photo Gallery contains natural resource and conservation related photos from across the USA. The Gallery is a joint project between NRCS Conservation Communications and the NRCS Information Technology Center in Ft. Collins, Colorado. For more information on the NRCS photo gallery, please see http://photogallery.nrcs.usda.gov/Index.asp.
